How did you meet?
Summer: "Dillion and I actually met in high school when we were 16. He sent me some oddly weird Facebook messages and I would always ignore them and think to myself 'such a creep.' One day he asked me to come to one of his baseball games and I gave in. It’s been history ever since."
What was it like early in your relationship?
Summer: "Early in our relationship it was hard because we were so young and I grew up with strict parents who wouldn’t let me do much so every chance we had to see each other was like a day in paradise!"
How long have you guys been together?
Summer: "Dillion and I have been together since my senior year and his junior year so 6 years."
Name one thing you love about each other.
Summer: "The thing I love about Dillion most is his ability to make me laugh at any given moment. I could be so mad at him and he’ll still make me laugh."
Dillion: "The thing I love about Summer most is that she always gives everything 100% no matter what."
How did Dillion propose?
Summer: "Dillion told me he had to stay at work until 5pm. I was out shopping with my brother and about to drop him off. I passed Dillion on the road around 4pm that evening and I flew off because I thought he was lying to me because he said he had been at work when in reality he was asking my dad for my hand in marriage. Well, when I got home he was already there and he said, 'we’ve gotta go, we’ve gotta be somewhere.' It all happened so fast. It was like a dream come true. He brought me to the lake where we had a blanket set up with family surrounded and got down on one knee and of course I said, 'YES!!!'"
Any funny stories involving the two of you?
Summer: "We just love to scare each other. He will be in the house and it’ll be dead silent and he will just scare me too death by popping out of nowhere. Last time, I had my very favorite last piece of red velvet cake and he was hiding behind the door when I walked in the bedroom and I literally slung it everywhere."
What's next for the two of you?
Summer: "Trying to plan a wedding, buy a house and get all cozy! Maybe travel the world before babies come along."
