I'm so thankful to have been a part of this sweet, lil' intimate backyard wedding in Linville, NC back in June. Heather (happily) and Brian (reluctantly - I made Brian give me a hug as soon as I walked in - where's the laughing emoji) took me in as if I were a part of their own family celebrating! These two had an intimate wedding with around 20 of their best friends, family and their children. They celebrated with a long and continuous table for dinner full of good drinks, ridiculous cheers (you'll see Brian's son "toasting" with a slice of toast), many rounds of cornhole on personalized boards and a fantastic view of Grandfather Mountain. Cheers to the happy couple!
How did the two of you meet?
Heather: "We met on Match.com"
What was it like early in your relationship?
Heather: "Fabulous. Even in the beginning when we were just talking through emails and text before we met, it felt like we had known each other for years."
Name one thing you love about each other.
Heather: "I can’t say just one thing. He is my everything."
Who proposed? How did they do it?
Heather: "Brian proposed in Savannah when we went for our anniversary weekend. We rented a small Airbnb and he asked me to dance in the living room to our song and during the song he proposed."
What's next for the two of you?
Heather: "Grow old and crusty together!"
Any funny stories?
Heather: "We went for a walk in a park near our house one weekend and I asked Brian to give me a piggyback ride. I jumped up and we both grabbed but I fell flat on my back hitting my head. I was okay but still to today we laugh about it because he says I didn’t hold on and I say he didn’t catch me."
